The purpose of TUSC
TUSC is designed to provide a positive enviornment for grown and confidence in communication skills. TUSC encourages all students to learn and practice their skills. Through this time the class will gather to talk, share, ask questions and listen to each other. The presentations are short - can be as short as 1 minute or ranges between 2- 5 minutes depending on the role that week.
Students are responsible for knowing the expectations of their Role and having materials, and presentations ready to go the morning of our TUSC meeting. Tips for TUSC

The more you practice, the better chances of a great TUSC presentation for everyone. Remember to work on speaking in a loud, clear and enthusiastic voice. |
Assessment
The assessment is ongoing throughout the year, part of the evaluation will be peer evaluation, self evaluation and teacher evaluation. Each presentation will be given a mark out of 15. Students will be marked on listening skills, vocal skills, and demonstrating knowledge on the topic. At the end of each TUSC meeting the Evaluator and General Recorder will decide on a "winner" for best TUSC presentation.
